RADIOACTIVITY TESTING LAB COURSES

Radioactivity testing is a crucial analytical process used to detect and measure radioactive contamination in various materials and environment. It ensures compliance with safety regulations and helps prevent exposure to harmful ionizing radiation. Industries such as nuclear energy, environmental monitoring, healthcare, food safety, and construction rely on precise radioactivity testing to assess and control radiation levels in different samples. This process involves measuring radiation emissions, identifying radioactive isotopes, and verifying compliance with national and international safety standards.

FARE Labs being one of the few accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) laboratory for radiological testing and approved by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) offers Radioactivity measurement and safety training to the Lab personnel working on radiological testing of various matrices.

Objectives

  • Provide a comprehensive understanding of radioactivity testing principles and methods.
  • Equip trainees with practical skills for operating radiation detection and measurement instruments.
  • Introduce methods for identifying and quantifying radioactive isotopes.
  • Familiarize attendees with international safety standards and best practices in radiation monitoring.
  • Radiation safety training course
