Overview
FARE Labs provides quality biofuel and renewable fuels analysis, and we offer our testing services to refiners, producers, blenders, distributors, consumers and research facilities. The biofuel products include biodiesel, ethanol and other fuels blended with these products.
Our laboratory provides cost-effective biofuel testing for fuels including fast, accurate, reliable testing for various parameters such as biodiesel fuel quality control, blending evaluation, fuel contamination issues, quality confirmation, trace residual analysis, and other tests.
Our expertise in fuels and biofuel analysis and testing makes FARE Labs your reliable partner to help support your oil and gas initiatives. We provide a detailed, yet innovative approach to help you achieve compliance with different industry requirements.
We can support you with a monitoring plan tailored to your products and requirements. Our state-of-the-art instruments such as GC, HPLC, GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS are capable of measuring concentrations even at the levels of ppb (parts per billion) and ppt (parts per trillion), thus ensuring that your products are safe to consume.
Fuel is a substance which is burnt to provide energy, heat or power. Some of the well-known fuels are coal, wood, oil, or gas which provide heat when burnt. Some of the characteristics of good fuels are high calorific value, moderate ignition point, low moisture content, low ash content, moderate combustion velocity, no harmful effects, low cost, easy storage and easy transportation. Fuels can be classified into three types namely Solid Fuels, Liquid Fuels and Gaseous Fuels.
Biofuel is produced over a short time span from biomass. The word biofuel is usually reserved for liquid or gaseous fuels, used for transportation. Biofuel can be produced from plants or from agricultural, domestic or industrial bio-waste.
