Our Testing Process

At FARE Labs, we follow a comprehensive testing protocol for medical oxygen using Gas Chromatographic analysis. The following steps are involved:

1. Sample Collection
To ensure integrity samples of medical oxygen are collected using sterile, contamination-free Tedlar Bags (PTFE/Polypropylene) on site.

2. Analysis of Contaminants
We conduct a series of tests to evaluate the purity of medical oxygen, including:

  • Particulate Matter Analysis: Using optical and gravimetric methods to quantify solid contaminants.
  • Water Content Determination: Employing techniques like Karl Fischer titration to measure moisture levels.
  • Oil Content Testing: Using gas chromatography (GC) to detect and quantify hydrocarbons.
