Overview
Fixed point cells are the most accurate devices available for defining temperature scales. These cells are designed to realize the liquid–solid equilibrium temperatures of high-purity metal elements, ensuring precise calibration of thermometers as per the ITS-90 (International Temperature Scale of 1990).
Typically, such high-accuracy calibration facilities are available only at National Metrology Institutes (NMIs). However, FARE Labs is equipped with an advanced Primary Fixed Point Calibration Facility, offering calibration services with high accuracy and traceability.
