PRINCIPLE
The CHNS(O) Analyzer finds utility in determining the percentages of Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Sulphur, and Oxygen of organic materials based on ASTM D5373 which involves the complete combustion of the sample at more than 1000°C. The samples burnt at higher temperatures are detected as CO2, H2O, N2, and SO2 by a high-resolution TCD detector.
